Fees
A flat fee, known before we start
Every engagement is a fixed fee, quoted in writing before any work begins, keyed to the size of the schedule against your company. We take no percentage of your settlement, your recovery, or the reduction achieved.

“Scheduled” means the 90-day payment total shown for your company in the debtor’s Statement of Financial Affairs — the same figure a demand is typically built from. It appears on the snapshot if you received one from us.
What every engagement includes
- Reconciliation of the trustee’s schedule against your ledger, ordinary-course analysis under each accepted methodology with a sensitivity table, the subsequent-new-value ledger, and a documented net-exposure band.
- Three deliverables formatted for your counsel’s use: the Defense Analysis Report, a settlement memo, and full workpapers traceable to source records.
- Turnaround typically 48–72 hours from complete data.
- Written scope and fixed quote, usually the same business day you send your materials.
The economics, plainly
A preference demand is a specific number — often six or seven figures. The choices are to negotiate on the trustee’s numbers, pay hourly defense costs that commonly run well into five figures, sell the problem to a claims trader at a steep discount, or document your statutory defenses from your own records. A fixed fee of $2,500 to $5,000 is a small fraction of any demand in these tiers. What the analysis changes in any particular case depends on the facts; what it always changes is which numbers the conversation is about.
International engagements are prepaid in full.
